Most of the time it just ends up with pulling out the mantis blades, monowire or whatever else cyberware you have for arms
Timing for double tap alt leave me with unintentional cycling all the time
Oh, no weapons on cross then ? Yeah this is smart, they should make a better keyboard layout in the future but sounds ergonomic for gamepads !
Keyboard has deeper keys and double tap should be adjuted accordingly if they keep it imo !
Plus there is no support for AZERTY keyboards which is causing mapping to overlap each other.
I managed to get it fixed by manualy changing mapping but it will be gone as soon as I get an update, proof for me that their keyboard support is half-baked, and god knows how better the game feels with correct mapping so I hope that it will be fixed in next update for those who don't want to bother tweaking gamefiles ! :)
There's at least two ways to make fixing custom configs easier after an update resets them. The first is to save a copy of the file elsewhere and use it to restore the settings after an update. There is a risk of incompatibilities if settings are added/removed. The second one is to make a separate file that has a list of each entry you changed (original) and the change you made (new). That way you can just use the find and replace function in your text editor to restore your settings. This approach takes a couple extra minutes but is far more future proof.
Yeah I made a .bak file and I'll simply restore it, but I would rather have a fix from the CDPR team, this is not normal. But I know they're having piles of work already so I'll stick to that.
Yeah adding comment for a quick search and replace is a great Idea ! TY :)
