Mostly agreed. Which is why it is even sadder that ACO is a better game than one done by the "good guys" behind GOG. It's mind blowing.
Were you the lead dev behind vehicles by any chance? Or maybe police AI?
Things have gotten worse for sure. But a small shop like Owlcat pulled off Pathfinder Kingmaker and they are making a sequel. That game is an actual RPG and is better than ACO or Cyberpunk.
I am amused by the people barking that ACO has nothing to do with Cyberpunk. Last I looked a huge number of posts on steam are comparison threads. I get that the little fan boys get salty but the fact is their heroes were crushed by ACO and many other games that are not considered great RPGs.
When you claim that you're creating some kind of masterpiece like CDPR did and then release what they did in Cyberpunk it's just sad.
Never played obyssey but fact is only thing what cyperpunk does is RPG in term is letting you choose to go thru front door or back door in side missions. While talking results same 98% time. Be 10 attitude to say stop that soldier. Okay... But in the end same happesn. Whole panam energy plant thing. Hey we could overboost this system even more to increase effect of explosion to bring down flying car... Panam THat´s great idea and nothing happens... Nothing happens at all... You identically do same thing. Fact even if that skill requiments allowed quicker end mission and save some nomads. I would been happy. It does nothing...
But in sense only thing this game tries copy is borderlands. While having broken system and awful world to do set thing. When i expected origins from this game. I expected 1 character based quest what would matter. It does not matter... Hey i could meet youtube´r as nomad... Lovely...
AC odyssey a better game than cyberpunk? HA now thats a good joke!
cyberpunk may be a buggy mess but at least its well written, has memorable characters, and isnt a unfun grindy mess unlike origins, odyssey, and valhalla
I remember dozens of missions which were "combat optional" and which gave you a slightly higher payout if you avoided combat.
For example.
So I am not sure whether you got your information from someone else (and have not actually played the game), or whether you had played it but didn't notice things.
