scan not working?

Since the last update im stuck on a quest to scan a body (i scan it) but its like the game doesn't see me scanning it or something...

Girl says scan body, i scan the body (shows the scanning screen) but nothing happens (not in game anymore so can't take a screenshot)

I am not sure what body. What quest and who is the body. It might be something specific, a particular location to scan, or something to do while scanning.

its a sidequest you kill the goons in the building to rescue some dr girl whos trying to save a patient she tells you to help her by scanning the body its has an arrow on the body so i scan it but nothing happens i assure im scanning the right place doing some google search shows this is actually quite a common bug lately with peoples scanners not working at all

Most people who are reporting bugs are actually just not doing the quest objectives and give up. Is this Bugbear, by chance? You scan her, and she sends you a message, then reading it, it tells you something very important.

no its further in game then that and honestly i had no bugs before the update now i do lol

So, is this just a generic post to say the game is bugged, and not something you are actually experiencing. I thought you were here to get help, but you are instead just lying about your experience, to say the game is bugged. Thank you for clearing that up.

I'm just going to briefly chime in here. The last update was a hotfix on Feb. 5th. That brought the game to version 1.12. The 1.2 patch hasn't been released yet. So OP, there's been no recent patch that could have caused your issue.

AFAIK, that original scan issue was patched out in version 1.1

I got a scanner bug once, the fix was to exit the game and restart it..

No i actually have this issue but thanks i provided those links cause of your "A bug? No way your lying" crap if you have no suggestion feel free to leave, but thank you for clearing that up that your only here to tell people with legit problems there lying or you doubt it

See i actually like this game but its people like you that will defend it non stop and accuse every person of making crap up that gives us fans a bad name
