Disabling Double tap to holster

I haven't played in a few months. Back when I was playing I had disabled double tap to dodge and holster in the config files. It worked at the time. A few updates later all these settings have been reset Setting the dodge left/right/up/down to 99 and dodge to 1.(I also removed the toggle crouch button from the dodge key config, so the hold crouch button is used for dodging) I set the HolsterUnholster count to 1. The single tap dodge works flawlessly, but the HolsterUnholster config doesn't seem to work at all. I still have to double tap to holster. I even tried setting the holsterunholster count to 3, but it still holsters on a double tap. I don't know if i'm doing it wrong now, or if it just doesn't work anymore.
It probably doesn't seem huge, but I really don't want to play this game until I can fix this. I hate always accidentally cycling though weapons while I'm trying to holster, really screws my immersion.

If you are familiar with modding the game you can try my Holster by Tap[www.nexusmods.com] mod or Advanced Controls[www.nexusmods.com] which also has this feature

I installed the Holster by Tap mod and it works perfectly. I will say, the install instructions for this and redscript were a little vague. I'm not enough of a writer to give a real tutorial, though it wasn't hard to figure out.
