Game keeps minimizing to desktop randomly

just playing it'll minimize for no reason it'll be an hour 2 or 3 sometimes 30 mins or less its not major but it kills immersion,anyone else having this issue?

It minimizes for me only when I first start it, doesn't bother me much I just hit the button in the task bar

never had it minimize on its own during actual play through

Huh, that's a new one... i'd suggest it may be a conflict with another app you have running? Just for the simple reason that i haven't heard of this problem before.

I have had something like that happen with other games when I hit the windows key.

Is it possible that you have something bringing up your desktop?

no i use an xbox controller to play and the keyboard is a good ways away,this is the only game that does that and its quite random lol,ive tried stopping background processes and updating graphics drivers,updating windows,nothing has worked so far,im gonna try and disable steam overlay and action center notifications,nothing is popping up in action center though this is definitely a problem ive never had with any pc game,itd be easier to figure out if there was a less random occurrence,also i do have it in fullscreen as well,sorry for the late reply,ive been researching extensively

I would suggest unplugging the xbox controller, then trying to play the game with keyboard and mouse just to see what happens. Just a process of elimination.

also disable steam input under controller in game properties in steam.

ive not tried borderless or disconnecting the controller,its a pain cause it sometimes doesnt act up for hours and other times its 30 min,but im also asking cdpr on the issue as well so hopefully i can figure it out soon,also do i need to restart when i disable steam input?

It really sounds like you have a program in the background stealing the focus. Origin did this to me for a while.

after extensive research and chatting with support i think that onedrive was causing the issue,i never used it so i disabled and it hasnt minimized for three hours total now once i get another few hours in i'll say its fixed lol

Interesting! I've been having crashing issues related to when I alt tab (the game starts minimizing after the first time I do until it eventually crashes) and I never considered Onedrive being an issue. Going to give this a try.
