HELP: Manual saved games disappeared WTF

Been playing CP2077 from Feb. I started the " point of no return" main quest yesterday evening. Playing and manual saving every day and have made a manual save before entering the club to meet Hanako. This morning I realized I wanted to look around a bit more and do some more side quests maybe before finishing the main story line, but NONE of my manual saves show up any more the last one in the menu is from WEEKS ago. I am incredibly angry. Checked in the C\Username\Saved Games folder and that shows the same. WTF I don't want to start all over again with the quests I've already done, nor do I want to ride out the main story already. What could be the cause of this? I did install the patch as soon as it came out... would that be the culprit?

BTW how do I attach a snippet to this post I've made a screenshot of the manual save files to show they are very old but the quicksaves are from yesterday

are you sure you're looking in the right place?
your saved games should be in your appdata>local>cdprojektred>cyberpunk 2077
your saves are not inside the documents save game folder

Umm. No they are in ‘Saved Games’\CD Project Red\Cyberpunk 2077. There are no savegames in the location you are giving only a folder named ‘cache’

Yea gamesaves should be here, mine is the same as op

C:\Users\ < windows account name > \Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

thats odd my cp2077 along with pretty much all other game saves are in the appdata local or roaming folder

is it possible you accidentally deleted your saves?
also do you have steam cloud enabled?
maybe you can try to get your saves back that way

No way I’ve accidentily deleted them (how would I do that 😁) and yes I have cloud saved enabled but cannot find how I would retrieve them?!

Had a look there, and same as on my local disk: I have saved files from today and the ones before that are those after the point of no return yesterday, and the rest is dated in December 2020. Thanks for helping me out but unfortunately it looks like something is very messed up. I can't imagine accidentally deleting all those save files, just praying it doesn't happen again. I wont be "trying to go past the point of no return" anymore till I am good and ready that is for sure.

Your friend's saves could disappear due to Steam Cloud synchronisation issues, there were people who complained about that before.
Are you sure that "new saves goin like 1 2...8 9(overwrite)" are not autosaves?

they have specific names, autosaves are named autosaves and manual saves are named manual saves.

some people do confuse the two, though.

You're right. It's just that "1 2...8 9(overwrite)" sounds like autosaves to me, but I may be wrong.
I have 200+ manual saves, none of them is missing. But I've turned cloud saves off from the day one.
