Does the duplication glitch no longer work?

As the title says I found out about it because I wanted to keep Skippy & get the extra cash from Regina. I like the fact that he does only head shots & I enjoy hearing him complain about me not returning him like I'm holding him captive while using him to kill. So anyway I looked up how to do the duplication glitch saw 2 videos to see if 1 said how to do it differently, looked at articles about it followed the instructions & I've yet to see more than 1 skippy in my inventory. I sold him at a drop point then exited the drop point then pressed the pause button & the sell button same time the UI image for the drop point was transparent like it was supposed to be I pressed to buy button 2 times like but when I exited the drop point while Skippy is back in my inventory ready to be used his new twin isn't present. So has that been patched out if it matters I'm playing on the PS4 Pro, for those who asking why I'm asking here & not reddit or Gamefaq its because people seem to reply faster here on steam then on there.

Those are indeed console specific fixes but once again they're not enough of a difference to say the PC & console games are completely different games & thus someone can't ask about the game on the PC if they own it on console which is what it sounds like to me your saying. Theres guides on the PC that a console player can use as well like where to find perk shards they're located in the same places whether you play on PC or console they don't change locations, quests also the same you can use a guide from the PC to complete the quest on console so long as the guide doesn't suggest to use mods or console commands they work on all platforms because they're the same game just some problems on console don't appear on PC & some on PC don't appear on consoles.

The code is different, stop being so obtuse, console is much different than PC.

I'm not the code being different doesn't mean that the game is different enough on PC than on console all the video guides at least & majority of non video quest guides, equipment guides don't say anything about the criteria to complete the quest or get the equipment being PC or console specific. Its just do blank thing or have a high enough attribute related to the task or go to blank location nothing else aside from specifying whether or not they're using a gamepad or keyboard & mouse they'll also say what platform they're on but not that it only works on that platform.
