cyberpunk overrides my afterburner fan settings
this is the only game i have this issue with, and i have googled it and cant find anything.

i like to crank my gpu fan speeds up when i game, it keeps the boost clocks up and makes most games run smooth as butter, now i finally gave cyberpunk a shot, game runs ok still need alot of tweaking, but the first thing i noticed is if i have msi afterburner running and turn the fans to max, fans spin up to full and keep running at that speed and when i launch cyberpunk the fans go so silent im not even sure they are running, gpu gets hot and fans never ramp up! as soon as i exit cyberpunk the fans ramp back up to full speed like they should have been the whole time....... if anyone knows why this is happening and has a solution please help as i dont trust running the game too long with the fans running silent if they are running at all

Even though there were no replies, just in case anyone runs into this same issue where a certain game completely kills your afterburner fan curve or fan speeds when launched, i have found the solution the culprit is dragon center. if you have dragon center installed open it up and uncheck game mode. this changes settings on certain games to try to get better performance(it doesnt) the minute turned that off. cyberpunk and doom eternal now run with my fans at max speed keeping the card cooler and in all honesty bumped my cyberpunk fps to an almost constant 60.

Dragon Center and Afterburner dont play nice together which is odd considering they are both MSI programs
