I don't really expect any more patches for CP2077. But, if they are making anything (e.g. patch 1.24 or 1.3 or some DLC) and since it is summer, end of June, I wouldn't expect anything earlier then end of August/early September!

Consumers as you say, or better customers are not important; if they were they wouldn't even think about releasing this game, even in the current 1.23 state, let alone back in december, in 1.04-1.06 state!

Someday maybe when we're old and gray, we will love Cyperpunk once more.

Why don't you expect further patches?

CDPR reaffirmed their commitment a couple of weeks aago to the "Next Gen Update" in the second half of 2021. That's definitely going to be a major patch. I don't know if that'll be called 1.3 or not. But there is absolutely ongoing work to further improve CP77's engine and to create DLC.

I figured there would be more big patches by now too? I'm moving on to other games.

CDPR also said they were very happy with the state of the game currently and are working on other projects using the team behind cyberpunk 2077 to do them

Well they are a company with employees and bills so its not really crazy to think that once the game is running pretty decently that they would start to transition to another game so they can continue to make money. It also make sense that they would say this because the amount of public hatred towards CDPR and Cyberpunk is so huge that they need some good will from anyone so making this announcement is likely to give off the idea that the next Witcher is in the works which will win over there die hard fans.

Even their die hard fans are will be hesitant to buy anything from them regardless if its a part of a established franchise or not. They're gonna need to show actual gameplay footage of the final product as in whats shown is not subject to change & this is what will be in the game this is how good the game performs. If they don't do that after what's happened with this game even if they release a Witcher 4 my bet is it either won't have any better sales than Cyberpunk 2077 or worse because everyone will suspect it to be equivalent of either beta or alpha stage games filled with bugs, glitches & crashes at launch & might not even include all that was promised.

Agreed, they need to fix this game to regain their reputation. If they just leave it people will see that as a sign that they are willing to release bad products and leave them that way. Hello Games got a bad rep after No Man's Sky, but they ultimately turned the game around over the years and now people generally see them as a good studio that cares about their products (like CDPR before CP). They're going to have to both fix the game and improve upon it a lot for people to start trusting them again.
