Fun fact modder already improved the game little bit with new sht
go check it out if you can peace.
And again in a game like cp2077 it is a nice to have, but not something that is required in my eyes.
I mostly used to walk and if I was in a hurry I fast travelled. You really don't need cars all that much in the city itself. I was mostly using cars out in the badlands etc.
In any case, even if I used the cars for more than that it wouldn't change my opinion.
And yes a game should be car centric to require customization. Otherwise it's just a nice to have.
The "what about traaaaaaains??!?!?" line is old at this point.
I have actually tested this: You can jump on the back of a flatbed truck and ride around as a "passenger" and just watch the city roll by. (Which is also how I accidentally discovered that some of the rail lines have shipping podss travelling along them, they are not just completely unused background ... this was very hard to catch until I just sat back and watched the screen for a while.)
This means that the game is fully able to handle that as a player activity. (Grab the player, move them around the city infrastructure - not just the scripted movie-trips.)
The "cut" aspect of transit was either due to time (less likely now that we know "moving the player around passively) is built into the physics) or due to constraints (as in: getting another in-memory system shoved into the ps4).
I think this is a very minor thing in any case, but since the system already supports the activity, maybe it will come.
Cdpr was just plain lazy with this. But there are some things that are customizable... Look at this custom car:

Hahaha
You keep saying things like this but dont seem to be willing to pay attention to basics.
You have a list of 100 items to get through and 3 months to go.
Your best guess is you will only get through 60 of them. You cut useless things like "paint cars" and keep things like "make ps4 work".
That is how it always is. It is not "lazy".
You think everything is just "smash keyboard magic comes out".
There is no fixing it.
The release was botched. They should have released the game when it was actually ready. I think that's what people are complaining about. Most of us are tired in incomplete games at release.
The stupid and bad business decisions that were pushed through with input from the investors have nothing to do with calling the devs lazy or dumb - which is what happens a lot here.
