Will Cyberpunk 2077 Get a Sequel? And Would You Buy It?

So personally I think that there is a really high chance we will get a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 as they have already built the world, the lore is extensive so there's plenty of story they could use to continue it. the potential is limitless.

The only thing that worrys me is that because of the backlash of Cyberpunks release that they might let the IP die out and just continue with The Witcher 4, which in my opinion would be wasted potential. Yes i agree that cyberpunk has still got a long way to go to fill the gaps of missing contents from release but i trust in CDPR to for fill that and complete cyberpunk, its going to take a lot of time but i firmly believe it will get there. after every update we get more fixes and soon we will have DLC's and expansion packs to also fill out the game. i personally think that we could get 2 more decent game out of the franchise.

so my question to you all is, Would you all be interested in a Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel? or would you rather see Cyberpunk die and be forgotten about? all opinion are welcome and id love to hear all what you have to say on the matter

I'd buy a sequel. I can see how awesome this game could have been, even if I don't think it really comes together.

I would but I hope they make it sequels more into a sandbox than a theme park. They got the latter part right with the witcher. I really had high hopes for this as I was really burnt out with the usual fantasy and post-apocalyptic settings most games have. So yeah, really optimistic about the theoretical sequels. The question is would players want CDPR to focus on CP2077 or ditch CP2077 and focus on making a sequel. The earlier they drop the former the better and earlier the latter will come.

And it fit a niche seldom filled of the modern RPG genre.
And I really like night city, this is the most lively computer city I have visited
(cant comment on GTA, which is allegedly better according to Cyberpunk basher)

I'd rather they focus on Cp77 myself, to improve the game as best they can and by improve, I don't mean just bug fixes and tweaks.

Yes, if you look past the insane amount of bugs and missing content, then there is a really good game.

Yes, I would love for CDPR to make a sequel to CP77. It seems they learned a lot through this experience and have established a solid foundation that they can build upon. It would be a shame for them to have put so much work into this new engine and not use a polished version of it that they now understand much better in a scenario where they can avoid the mistakes they went through last time.
