Crash after talking to Dexter

So I just got to the part where you've completed Dexter's heist and are reporting to him. Every single time I try to talk to him, he says some dialogue, then the game crashes, every time, at different dialogue parts. Played 10 hours straight no crashes so it can't be my rig. is there a fix for this conversation or can I just skip it?

Got this problem too, it always seems to crash when he was walking back and forth in the room. At first I've tried reload previous save and skipping the dialogue, but the crash persist.

The only workaround I found is that you need to "quickly" skip the dialogue, meaning just spam the "Skip" button until the conversation ends.

I got through it by staring at the floor in the corner of the room to limit the engine from having to produce any sort of extra fx, and then, i didnt go into the bathroom out of pure fear of all the triggers that will bring up. managed to get through it. now i save every 60 seconds because the autosave in this is garbage.

Jeez that sucks, and some people claim this game runs "fine". I actually like and want to hear the conversation that V and Dex were having in that room (really buildup the tension that you have between Dex), its dumb to have to do some stupid things like this to just make it work.

Though this crash seems to occur to me on the latest patch. Before this I didn't think I've got any hard crash during this mission.

Maybe turn down settings just to get through this one part?
