Nanowire, what perks tree affects this?
Does blade perk tree contribute to nanowire or is it under the normal melee dmg you get from athletics etc?

It's technically a "blunt weapon" so the Brawler tree that affects fists and baseball bats.
This is weird, considering that it's lethal and dismembers people. Also, it's "Monowire".

It falls under the Blunt skill tree, even if you install a mod to change the damage type. Weird, but they must have wanted a signature 'cool' thing for the Blunt Weapon tree since Blades got the Mantis Blades.

No... where? Screenshot it and point it out.

Cool tree. Read the description of the cool tree. Every increase in the cool tree increase monowire damage by 3.
Though don't expect miracles against bosses.
It consumes stamina.

You're both right according to fextralife :

Monowire is a Melee-Blunt weapon that benefits from [cool] +3 dmg, [Body] +1.5% dmg, and [Blunt weapon] perk bonuses and provides [Street Brawler] xp : tested on PC v1.04

Ah, brawler tree, so no good for my netrunner stealth techno build.
I think tech weapons are better bet for me.

It's athletics. The cool attribute is a bug

The bonuses from the "cool" tree only add 60 base damage at max level which isnt worth much anyway.

ok, thank god i am investing points into Body then. I have cool only at lvl 3 as most of the perks seem naff.

Cold blood is a pretty strong skill tree, needs heavy investment though. Assassin and Cheat Death from the stealth skill tree are also nice.

What do you mean? It's a display bug on skill tree, it isn't taken into account in the calculations? If so anyone has anyone tested it out?
jerrypocalypse Jan 11, 2021 @ 5:27am
The Cool stat gives it bonus damage, but the perks in the Street Brawler tree under Body also affect it.

This isn't correct. Athletics is a skill, and Cool is an attribute. Cool applies a passive damage increase each rank, similar to how Body increases gorilla arms/fist damage.
