They do assist in opening doors by lowering DC it seems.
They also worked fine for me during the beat on the brat matches. I was knocking them flying all over the place with heavy attacks they never even stood a chance.
If this is true I am going to become an angry gorilla. In fact I am going to check that right now! I'll be back in a minute!
EDIT: Not the case. Cuckoo's Nest sealed door is DC15 regardless of whether or not Gorilla Arms are equipped in the cyberware slot.
Wierd... I charged and burned my way through beat the brat.
I didn't use them in the fist fights but I did find them to help in opening doors and beating mobs. But I don't think the arms are any better than a pipe I had so not sure if they're worth it.
