Safely tucked up with lots of other things which had become cliche within the genre by the end of the 80s.
The actual score to the game is really excellent in the main (combat music has grown repetitive for me has to be said).

Surprise Me, I'm Surprised Today - Nina Kraviz & Bara Nova off Samizdat radio lololololololol
Not my kinda music.
And, honestly, most of it sounds the same to me. Not literally exactly the same, but so similar in flavor that they kind of blend together for me.
Except the smooth jazz station...but who likes smooth jazz?
I wish there was an, "I've got MP3s on this machine; let me make a custom station," option. I think at least one GTA game had that.
I mean, I get what CDPR was going for with the music they chose, but...that's not my cyberpunk (lower-case 'c' deliberate; I'm talking genre, not this game in particular).
