Why buy crafting specs for cyberware?
Is there any reason i should pay 520,000 eddies for a leg crafting spec of a cyberware mod when i only need one of them and is super cheap to buy one in comparison?

The only reason i can think of is to craft loads and sell them off perhaps?

You can craft leg cyberwear?

Do then increase your run speed instead of making you jump higher?
Or are they just better versions of the leg cybverwear already available?

It's a balancing issue - No. I don't think there's any reason to do so. Especially not with how little money you can scrape together right now.

What i mean is you can get crafting specs for legendary optical mods, which you can slot into your optical cyberware. Sorry, i don't mean actually crafting the cyberware itself.

if youre talkign about the slottables of gear, maybe because with perks and some crafting levels, you can get better stats than waht you can buy

like if its the little mod things, like the armadillo mod for armor, highest ive naturally seen was like 15, best i could craft was like 166

so if those crafting specs for cyberware are anything like that, you can craft something nicer maybe

You can always sell them if you are after the Autojock achievement. I got the Autojock achievement legitimately, but had to loot and explore 100% of the map to ensure that I had enough for all of the cars and all of the best Cyberware.

Considering how much people are whining about money in this game, and how a lot of people say that you have to cheat to get Autojock, maybe crafting and selling them is an option.

Not played with crafting cyberware, nor seen a recipe that expensive.

Only benefit I can see is if it is like weapon upgrades where rarity is not tied to the recipe. IE, if you have the recipe for the gun damage boosting mod, then even though recipe is common, it can make legendary.

I have never seen cyberware recipes themselves though, or noticed em.

Ok, once i have enough cash to experiment i'll try buying some of the cheaper crafting specs for mods and see if i get better versions by crafting myself.

Savescum is always viable too!

Now I am uncertain because like guns for example, they just manufacture specific to that rarity. So cyberware probably is same if there is rarity recipes besides common.

Funny thing is I didnt discover this til last night, second playthrough. I bought the damage boost recipe cause store I went to had that and not module. I made one... it was uncommon? Made a bunch, had three epic, five rares, like seven uncommons, and a few more than that in commons.

I ignored those recipes cause "I found plenty" but always found common. Now I know that making these can be pretty potent!

Tonight I want to recipe hunt, and really upgrade. Particularily for scopes and any other recipe I never looked into like clothing mods, etc.

Hmm, this is good to know, thanks. I'll put max points into crafting and i'll do the same.

If you want to make easy credits with a minimum of investment, buy a jacket crafting recipe and become your own sweat shop. Jackets sell for a huge amount and are the best return on your ingredient investment, I've found.

Well, thing about those damage boost mods? I dont have much of anything into crafting on playthrough 2. I dump statted into tech after my body and cool maxed out. Only perk in tech tree I have taken is ability to craft rare. So I am getting epic mods with only the one perk and attribute 10 iirc.

Certain ones, like the crafting spec for the Legendary Kiroshi mod that Vik sells, seems useless, as you can already buy the legendary version for a cheaper price, and it's not like you need to buy it more than a 1-3 times to fill up the slots.

However, certain mods can only be bought at lower rarities. For example, The Sandeviston Overclocked Processor. The guy who sells the craftin spec for that only sells the common version. But buying the crafting spec let me craft an Epic rarity version.

They're cheaper and sold higher then green Nekomata itself, plus it weights a lot less also so you gonna be so filthy rich and the game will start to get too easy and boring
