No one knows too much yet, but I don't think it's that V wants immortality, but more like V is just stuck with it because of the situation, whatever it is.
Ohhh that's some nice tidbit. Yes that IS the correct spelling of the word Tidbit.
How long post launch will it be okay to talk about the story in general public? I'll be buying at launch of course, and I'll be better off with the week off after so that'll be nice for more reasons than CP2077 - planned way before I knew about the game btw I'm not that sad and that's not to disparage those who do plan holidays around release dates because damnit - it's real to you.
so it was taken from the original owner born in 1919 - he would have been at least 70 before a microchip would have been available, but okay and his son stole it - perhaps the son doesn't have one of his own, which means this chip can keep all the tadpoles vital too even in a man of stature before the injection of the chip - and puts it in V.
I recall a post from CDPR saying the story is more focused and shorter because a lot of people didn't complete The Witcher 3.
Yes - I can see the need for a lot of side quests.
Do you mean if the body doesn't age you'd be physically unchanging.
Super healing ability or the absence of feeling pain should be included in the package of immortality. Ever broke an ankle falling off a kerb? Granted that's extreme but has happened.
Even "immortal" monsters have a way out so as not to end up as the ahole that is Bowerick Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged.
I almost wrote was, but the end of the Universe hasn't happened yet so probably still is.
If he was a real character.
I mean the corruption of DNA, which causes ageing, so you'd age to roughly 27 or so and then not "grow old".
As for pain, I'd be fine with it. Especially as medical science advances coupled with the fact you can't die from anything, you'd be able to heal nearly any issue with your body.
So if you are shot to smithereens, then I don't think you can come back from that, even with immortality chip.
I think we can, and are allowed to talk about story because not much is revealed to the public to begin with, aside from the press and content creators who signed NDAs.
And since V has the immortality chip in the end, the story is going to be interesting because I reckon the Nighty City's powerful will come after V for it, should they find out. But I'm betting Arasaka will come after it and they will keep quiet as to not let others know that the immortality chip is no longer being held by Saburo.
Before release it's merely window dressing after launch are you going to be the person who spoils it for others by revealing plot points? I doubt it, you're much more refined a character. How are we or even should we avoid them?
I've only just found out about the immortality chip from reading the description - I've been following for ages but the story line has been so far in the background to not make much difference - open world and side quests etc, etc.
But I've always been fascinated by the concept of Immortality since Dr Who - see the user name after all. Without EXTRA's it's a curse, without an end date humans go insane.
Immortality shouldn't mean Eternity, but it can which is very bad.
My plan is to work (of course) and play Watchdogs and listen to non gaming podcasts and YT videos before the game comes out with a side quest of Factorio and making a mess in Satisfactory with conveyor belts and train tracks, although I'm bad at both of those titles.
I really hope driving is nice and smooth in both titles. I play Truck Simulator in both EU and US and that's the physics games should be aiming for otherwise there's no point.
OR
Open world games should come with a grapnel and wing suit as standard a la Just Cause 2+ - just because traversal can either be time consuming or a joy to experience and behold. I know which I prefer.
