I'm sure it will work, if Witcher 3 supports it than this should. I myself am gaming on a 43.4" 32:10 (3840x1200), I also got a standard 16:9 (2560x1440) 32" Samsung monitor, for my console and games that don't support widescreen.

Yea I definitely like to get the LG CX 48" TV/Monitor in the future or something similar. It wouldn't be for at least 1-2 years tho as I just bought my 2 monitors this past year. As for my 32 inch monitor the Samsung 32CHG70 it was the predecessor to the G7, the Qled still looks pretty good tho.

I'm probably going to hold off for a few months before trying to get a Zen3, as I have spent quite a lot recently for my pc. I recently upgraded my mobo from a b450 to an X570, also got a new case, and have an RTX 3080 on backorder since September 19th.

If it so happens I don't get my 3080 by the time the 6800xt releases then I'm definitely going to try and snag one of those. That should at least save me a little money. Hopefully they have a better system for pre-ordering, otherwise I feel like it is going to be another paper launch.

Surprisingly no. The software was a little buggy tho, at least the last time I used it. As it wasn't saving my settings when I was trying undervolt. This was like 6 months ago, I haven't tried since then, but in actual use it has been fine and haven't experienced any crashes or black screens as many have claimed. It has definitely gotten better.

I've got the Odyssey G9 (5120X1440@240Hz/1ms/HDR1000/Gsync) for any games I play with keyboard and mouse, then the LG C9 OLED (4K/HDR/Dolby/120Hz/Gsync) for any games I wanna kick back with a controller, but man the picture on the OLED and the insane blacks by being able to use per pixel dimming just makes for one of the most incredible images you'll ever see.

Would you trade immersiveness for colors? The G9 is incredible for shooters and FPS, I haven’t tried C9. I think this game will be better on 32:9 than 16:9, although, decrease the POV on the 16:9 might make it better. So what do you think is better? 16:9 oled or 32:9 on the G9?

Witcher 3 didnt support 5120x1440 resolution to begin with or 32:9 aspect ratio, but it eventualy did. Now that more monitors have that aspect ratio, im fairly certian that if it doesnt ship with it it will be updated shortly. Many newer games dont ship with 32:9 ratio, bg3 didnt but with a week it was updated.

Yeah that is definitely a tough one. The picture on the C9 is hands down in a league above the G9, but I find myself using the G9 way more lately just because of how immersive the massive 32:9 wrap around screen is. The super aggressive curve just makes it so in-your-face it is great. One really cool option if you go with an OLED tv, you can create custom ultrawide resolutions and since the black bars are completely black on an OLED with no glow at all, it ends up looking really damn cool

I hear you man and I appreciate you giving me your opinion. While I do not have and OLED TV, I did try and check them at local stores. They do have good colors, but I was thinking that 16:9 on 48 inch may not really cut it for me as much as 32:9 because ultra wide monitors are really suitable for immersiveness and gaming more than large 16:9 monitors. On top of that, the G9 is actually barely similar to OLED TV if you turn on the HDR for some contents only, like watching movies in HDR on the G9 was very similar to watching movies on the OLED. It depends on the contents you play. And, I think that you're really good to go for the next 4 years or so because you bought the best future proof monitors as I think the next thing is 8k monitors, but those need next next gen gpus.

They confirmed ultrawide support a long time ago. As for that specific ratio and resolution there has been no official confirmation, but I'd wager you should probably be fine.
