Another time I K.O.'d a cyberpsycho Mox (still alive and breathing, I checked) but her friend balled at me that I'd killed her.
Not surprising though, since the non-lethal mechanic was added only recently when folks were clamoring for non-lethal methods.
Which, while that'd be cool, the way they implemented it is lame. I love watching someone burst into flames, stumble around and then fall to the ground while smoldering. But they're still alive of course. Non-lethal damage, right...
hey batman can get away with it....
For whatever reason Contagion is also a non-lethal quick hack, despite the description sounding rather lethal (heavy metal toxicity and eroding the targets cyberware to leech the said metals), so the logic definitely is flawed in some cases.
Most bosses seem to work the same way. Sasquatch, Oda, etc. They give you a chance to think about weather or not you're gonna end them, even if you used lethal force the whole way through.
Yet another unfinished part of the game.
