I liked that they made her look like Daryl Hannah's Pris from Bladerunner.
Yup, I agree. It felt like maybe more was intended for the tarots and meditation (but again I could be reading too much into it). At the end of the day it felt pretty shallow to just go visit all this unique graffiti, with the sole purpose of just grabbing the achievement.
The system is even tied into the endings, so it did feel like it was supposed to be more. Maybe more would have been explained in the montage years, because clearly Jackie is there sitting in her chair getting worked on when you first visit the docs, etc.
1. It's not an interesting story
2. It doesn't have an interesting reward
3. It's not impactful to V
V (and Johnny) start seeing tarot cards which s/he chose to help Jackie pick the perfect present for Misty. Then Misty starts accurately foreshadowing events with her readings, unlike the horoscope-ish vagueness of her readings for other people. Viktor suggests it's related to the engram - is something/someone manipulating V's memories?
And we also know at least one corporation is playing with tech to do that and using the occult as a recruitment tool.
It feels unfinished and I wonder whether it's something I've not stumbled across yet or whether it was cut. Most other quests have an actual payoff/consequence, even if it's not flagged and you only accidentally stumble across it.
If you were unaware, Misty is just an homage to Pris -- a replicant prostitute and cute little piece of streetmeat from 'Blade Runner'.
She was played by Daryl Hannah in the film.

I am not surprised that her character has very little...character.
She is based on a soulless robot.
Hadn't considered that. Yeah, would make some sense of it. Currently just one of many loose ends I'm bumbling about in the game world trying to figure out. I do wonder whether there's overlap between the three strands which touch upon 'occult' ideas and your idea of something for the future does seem to fit for all three.
