It does link back to the thread in a way, because I think one of Misty's 'boring' problems is that she's always just there in front of you looking like a cross between Pris and a half drowned panda. (Mostly true.) There's not the sense of eg Evelyn's nerves showing as she chain smokes and paces about. And you get to see Judy in all sorts of different locations and places and it lets the animators have something to work with beyond someone peering out from beneath a fringe. Agree with you about some arcs being much more developed and compelling than others too.
Think you can know everything there is to know about a subtly written character and still think they're a waste of time, to be fair. ;) Panam I'll pass on until I get round to doing a male V run to the end to see her full character. Only reason I really tried to place Misty as a character is that she's one of the few you meet who have a sense of spirituality and I find that an interesting thread to how the whole setting has been done.

She is rather unique and complex.
I'd have talked about Panam's backside if I had. I did make the mistake of typing a loose generalisation on the Steam forums expecting people to recognise it for being one though.
Beyond the broad theme of spirituality in the city, I've not found anything more (ingame lore) about the tarot. Cos it's a curious thing in itself that V is seeing images of cards that s/he chose to help Jackie pick a perfect present for Misty and it feels like there's something missing to it. Especially where the final two cards appear.. There's probably something longer to be written about Buddhism, Christianity, Voodoo, and occult within Night City. But I'm still bumping into things I'd not seen/read/found before nearly 200 hours in...
With you on Johnny. My first run through he annoyed me to bits. And on my second I warmed a bit more to him because I took it slower and started to get more of the dialogue with him and also the order I was doing quests seemed to make for a more reasonable arc to how he changes over time.
Do think you are right that some hooks for some characters aren't done as well as for others. And Misty is one of them. It took me time to realise that she's the one offering V a way to speed up her 'exit' from Night City even if it comes with what initially sound like platitudes.
there are so many gap (obviously cut content i think) just cut into montage
So wasted
Somewhat. I felt like she was supposed to have a greater role/more story involved with her, but it didn't make the cut - but that's just how it felt to me.
