20+ hours Refund????
Okay so i know what steam policy says about refunds not being issued for 2+ hours played games, but seriously i wasn't even interested in refunding the game at first, i wanted to play it even tho i could run it properly on my 1660ti, but some time later i decide that i'm not playing the game i wanted to play, or at least i wasn't really enjoying it at the frame rate i was playing it.

So i ask for a refund and of course it get denied, but really steam??? most of the time i have in the game were hours and hours of me tinkering with the settings to see if i could get a relative steady frame rate everytime i got to a new location.

I need to know if there is some way i can contact steam support directly so i can really explain my situation, because their bots are just gonna see my "play time" (Which i would just call Run Time Since the CDPR Launcher being open also counts as hours for steam) and will not issue a refund, i need help, i can barely buy a game a year and i would like to at least get my money on the steam wallet so i can buy some other game :c

Yes we got decieved by a game that didnt show its true colors until several hours into it. This was done on purpose to prevent refunds and we are the victims.

At this point all we can do is hope that cdpr will fix what they have messed up but i am not sure k have faith in them any more. Maybe modders will save the day to idk, time will tell.

I hope you learned your lesson like me. NEVER PREORDER! Especially from cdpr.

buy game, install, close steam and play it outside of steam. play it as long as you want, keep it under that tracked 2 hours on steam XD

what i mean was a Full price game like that, most of the games i have are the ones i can buy when the steam sales are cutting down the price, sorry english is not my first language.

a know the policy i just think is unfair, i mean the character creation takes at least an hour for those who really want to customize, and then its a long track until you go into the open part of the world, and you start seeing the bad preformance

top left of steam you should have a option: help > steam support.
see if there is any way there to try and talk with someone direct, if that fails try https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/ someone there might be able to help more.

i think you will be lucky to get the money back.. but on the plus side i think that CDPR will try to fix the game up pretty fast.

sorry i cant help more :/

I can't see myself enjoying this game as much on a GPU older than a 2000 series. DLSS is a must have for performance, without DLSS on I'm getting about 20-40 fps on 1920x1080p max settings. I have a weaker CPU than I was going to get, it's just a Ryzen 5 3600x but it's still good and recent and works well with my EVGA 2060 KO Ultra. I would need a more powerful CPU to utilize my 2060 better, this game is a bit demanding for performance.

Ignore people that are trolling you.
There was someone who was successful on here with 19 hours but it took him a few goes. You need to be specific when stating why you want a refund and that it is tied to a technical issue.
You need to point out all the problem solving issues you have tried, also if you have been playing the game, Steam can see the unlocked achievements so just don't lie to them and I am sure they could assist you.

If you're tight on cash then no you shouldn't purchasing new releases instead wait for sales. Typically games are buggy at release and after a number of patches they end performing better but that's six months or a year later.

there are very clear written rule: 2 hours to which you accepted. Its your own fault you used over 2 hours just to play around with the GPU settings. Also 20 hours? lol anyways your own fault, dont cry. Steam or CDPR did nothing wrong there.

People get excited, but your advice is so true. We can wait and buy this on sale, at the appropriate 50% off it should be.

This does not work.
When you log back in to do refund the game will sync and show actual play time without you even launching it.

If I remember correctly it may not display the hours but it is still tracked. You wont be able to abuse refund policy like that.

Same with family sharing. If you have a game family shared and another account goes over 2 hour then it counts too.
