Anti China and anti Russia hate stereotypes

The way the Russians and Chinese are portrayed in this game is cheap propaganda.
Love this game and the story, but seriously, why the blatant hate?
It breaks my immersion because its way too obvious.

The Soviet Union in Cyberpunk is a sort of "what if" scenario where Perestroika & Glasnost had worked, and the Soviet Union remained sort of still together and put on a path to social democracy. The outcome is only marginally better than what happened in Real Life where the USSR fell apart and the economy was destroyed in the worst privatization scheme ever conceived.

Partial privatization of state industries still ended up resulting in particularly powerful corporations like SovOil becoming fully privatized, and world powers in their own right. The end result being a "Soviet" Union effectively controlled by their most powerful megacorporation,

Scavs in the game are modeled after real life post-Soviet gangsters, taking their cues from the Bratva, Chechen Mafia, Armenian Mafia, and so on and so forth. Any Russian person could tell you how ruthless these groups were in the 90s, and still are.

As for "Chinese hate" I'm not really seeing it. China's treatment in Cyberpunk lore is frankly, pretty stupid, but in 2077 they're not treated worse than any other global actor. Little China is practically the heart of the game.

Arasaka corp is not portrayed so badly, they have my fave char in the game, Goro Takemura, a nice-ish lady Hanako Arasaka, so not everything is evil about Arasaka, even though its a corpo that its supposed to the bad guy in the game.
Take the case of Chinese corpos, first of all they are just evil without any personaliity, and the Russians dont even have corpos, they are just the evil mafia who deals in human organs and drugs.

First of, as someone else pointed out, Arasaka is japanese.

Second, not portrayed so badly? Have you actually paid any attention to what is happening in the game? Sure, they have two good characters (as in good written, because at least Takemura has probably done some shady ♥♥♥♥), that doesn't mean the company is good, there are plenty of examples of how they are a ruthless corporation that doesn't give two sh*ts about people in the game, for example many of the assaults are about Arasaka sending hit squads to murder witnesses.

Kang Tao just has a minor role, sure that role is "evil", as with all other corporations, that doesn't mean every person as Kang Tao is evil anyway. As for Russia, who says they don't have corporations? SovOil is a mayor corporation, and there are probably others as they are a major weapons and vehicles manufacturer, but this is a game, they are not going to list every corporation in every country.
