People complain about braindances, that you can buy them ingame from shops but cant watch them.
The titles of those tapes pretty clearly indicate some kind of snuff prn.

So my question is, do those complaining people actualy expect CDPR to make digital snuff tapes for them?

i just want more DB's that you can find, watch, work out the clues in them to track down some quest that results in some reward.
like actual quests. that you yourself need to work out. not the gigs and stuff that just have you follow a mindless marker on the map to the objective.
more akin to that hidden cryptic quest that you can workout to receive a new motorbike

BD's are just sold as something quite common in the world of 2077. you see them on vendors all over the place (granted like you said those specific ones would be highly inappropriate lol) but you see people watching them all over the city and on quests.
i just feel like its a very underutilised system in the game that's actually unique new and fun (i think they'd be more fun with less hand holding telling you what parts of it to investigate.)

and hey if there's a few joy toy lapdanceish ones along the way (akin to the hologram when your talking to E.Parker in the booth) cool. fits the theme of the city....

It is still incredibly cheap to include this whole BD thing into the game and, again, do almost nothing with it other than story-railroading. I am absolutely sure they changed the titles of the BDs after realizing they would could this content, and then just slap on the explanation of "hurrdurr not compatible with your BD-viewinig-thingamajig". I am not too keen on complaining about anything they did (the game is decent in its current state), but why include those items at all in the game if it doesn't do anything? They actually introduce you to the idea of figuring out where those BD got recorded and then finding the people responsible for it, which I assume would have been the role for those "snuff porn" BDs in the game, but don't follow up on it.

Just remember that BDs are incredibly simplistic. They let you know when and what type of things you're supposed to scan, so it's barely an interaction at all. I'd only be interested in more of them if they could make them interesting enough knowing that is the case, just little tidbits of Night City.

what i was getting at is the extremes censorship goes to in media (games movies)
even rated 18+ its 100% fine to graphically dismember and mutilate body's, blow people up, torture and execute people, dragging them behind a vehicle, brutally stabbing them, and feeding them to animals, throwing people off buildings and mass murder people in any number of other ways.... all 100% acceptable approved content for distribution
but damn you better not show a naked human body that everyone sees every day of their daily lives.... that's a nono

those depictions are mostly lacking of the sweat and screams and real horror

Have you played the game? Obviously not.

Even advertisements for food products are sexually themed. The entire game makes fun of how we use "sex sells" to get people to buy things. So the brain dances that you insist sound like porn are almost certainly not.

Yeah the topic was about Braindances in general. You can buy "Three Mouths, One Desire" from an in game shop. It's not viewable. That wouldn't be snuff.

I just want to know what the hell they expect her to do with three mouths. I think I know but...
