What's with the lack of romantic partners?

This isn't about sex. And there's frankly enough in the game as is. And what is here is honestly not arousing at all. Its like watching a POV sex scene where you basically have the equivalent of a lap dance with a manikin and your brain is being edited by some hack director who thinks jump cuts make things more exciting. Rather I just don't know why there's so few options for romance.

Legitimately some of the best moments I've had in game are just having heart to heart conversations with characters. The actors and writers knocked it out of the park to the point that I feel like these lines were ripped straight from real situations. I love the moments where you just sit down with people and hear about their lives and how they cope with things. Like working with Judy's side quests had me nearly in tears at how much she's been through or actually caring if Panam dies during a mission.

As it stands there are four possible romances and only two of which you can actually access in game per playthrough depending on your gender. And if you have a voice apart from your gender, you get one. This is actually WORSE than the options Dragon Age 2 gave us because at least you could be any gender for those.

I know I should be happy that this game left me wanting more but... why isn't there more??? At least more characters I can go in depth with. Know their feelings, their dreams and what makes them tick. Bugs and all the problems aside with the game (both at release and currently) this has remained the one point for the game I've never changed on. PLEASE just give me more of this. The sex I'm pretty lukewarm on. Its more awkward than any of the sex scenes in all three Witcher games. Yes, even the first game.

Personally I feel they did it on purpose to irk us. How else would you explain that they gave their core customer base (men who are attracted to women) only a single romantic option? They even took extra steps to make Judy reject masculine V, even though apparently the voice lines exist (I heard).
So this seems like an act of contempt for us. Man, they better fix Judy to make this right, and add at least a few more feminine romantic options.

notice how, hetro males aren't allowed cute faced women, eg judy, but the lesbians are more then ok to get cute faced women? seems hypocritical as ♥♥♥♥ to me -shrug- so what i got out of it is, lesbian women like the same women hetro men do but its a crime for males?

I didn't even expect romance in it tbh. I expected some naughty scenes but there is actually a way to be hetero, ♥♥♥♥ or bi. Which is enough. River could be a bit prettier tho that ugly MF. Tried to kiss him with my male V and made everything extra weird. This isn't a romance game but maybe there will come more options later, or just wait for mods.

Exactly, it's missing the depth people wanted from CDPR. The things we had in the Witcher were thought to improve on Cyberpunk because by now they must understand what made the Witcher popular, right? Nope. Instead we get this..chopped salad full of meaningless content.

I agree one or two side stories were good so they can do it. They however for some reason or another just didn't. A lot will have to do with outside influence as always and a lot with mismanagement.

More romance options would be nice. It does feel like certain characters were set up for it, but the dialog never made it into the final build.

Now you know how I felt when I couldn't romance Morrigan in Dragon Age.

Besides, Panam is gorgeous, so what is there to complain about?

Oh ok, that's very disrespectful. Look I'm also not attracted at all to Kerry. I find the idea of having sexual intercourse with him repulsive. Same as Panam. But that doesn't mean I'm insecure lol. It just means I have a certain sexual orientation which excludes certain people. Simple as.
The point is, CP77 must do better. They must offer options to satisfy us, the customers.
