Claire (minor Spoilers)
Out of all the things this game gets wrong they absolutely nailed it with Claire.

She was strong, she was vulnerable. She opened up to V about her past. They humanized her and made her a believable person all the while respecting her as a trans woman.

She tells V she met her husband after her gender transition and she has the trans flag on the back of beast. that was it. Simple and respectful. it wasn't the end all be all of her characters identity.

kudos to CDPR for writing a trans character while not shoving it in our faces or trying to make some statement about it.

screw Judy and Panam, i wish we could have romanced Claire.

Claire knew her husband before her transition...he brought her flowers in hospital following her op.

You know, I actually liked Claire...

...until the ♥♥♥♥♥ lied to me about the other participant of the race and made me miss a 75k€$ car that is infinitely better than her sh*tass truck.

That said, she's a well done character.

Claire was well written... up until the point where she literally asked you to shoot and attempt to kill someone with a platinum grade Trauma team package and CORPO backing.

I can't even begin to explain why she's asking you to join her on a suicide mission.

I was hoping to be able to romance Claire too, but that wasn't possible. That she said that she wasn't always a woman didn't change my mind.

Thing is, she always was. People being born in the wrong body is an actual thing.

I meant physically. Point is it never bothered me.

The main and supporting cast is really a treat

Completely agree, so many disappointments and yet in the middle of all this, genius

I really wish CP77 gets the depth it deserved as a game and not just as a piece of writing

yeah that was weird, she wanted to win the races and then asks you to murder someone moments leading up to the last race. Sure V is a mercenary but you gotta discuss the terms of the contract and V never agreed to murder someone without weighing the risks. And then she gets mad when you say it's a dumb idea. She's a bartender at a club that 's clientele is all mercs so how things should work are clear.

I don't disagree, it's a level above devs like Bioware and Ubisoft who put a neon flag on said characters back. But her questline was too cliche and edgy for my taste.

You can get both vehicles out of that quest though?
Torenn Jan 3, 2021 @ 6:36pm
Claire was above an 8 hot and a below 5 crazy. On the Hot and Crazy Matrix, that means Claire was a dude. Craziness is relative to the rest of Night City, of course. Claire was a chill character, though. Wouldn't have minded more quests or something with them. It's a little awkward how they try to spark up a conversation with you every time you go to the Afterlife, and you usually just blow by them because you're trying to get something else done.
