Why it takes so long to sync?

It takes almost 2 minutes to sync the game when I close. It's not a storage problem because it's in NVMe, I've also tried to disable the Red Launcher but it keeps take a while. This is very boring when trying to set the best OC or testing mods, and have to wait so long every game crash.

Your Steam client is syncing savegames... with the cloud.
No amount of super computer on your end will speed up the process on Valve's end. Just disable it in settings.

But this happens only to Cyberpunk 2077. I've never had this problem before

its steam cloud, maybe your other games dont use it.
simply right click -> properties on 2077 and uncheck the cloud save

Have you ever looked at all the auto-saves this game creates?

I've learned to blow those away before exiting the game, or I'll be waiting for Steam to sync for the next 10-15 minutes. I keep two manual saves.

CenturyLink DSL in my part of the world is pretty awful. Upload speeds are not their strong suit.

Every save gets sync'd every time you exit, I think.

Perhaps they implemented cloud save this way to work around some problems in steam where steam has been losing data.

Just by-pass steam & the launcher altogether by creating a shortcut of the games exe. & launching it that way.

Bit overkill if you want achievements. Literally just turn sync off for the game. Pesto!

If you have a lot of saves, it takes much longer. I've been going back and manually backing up my saves on my other drive and deleting them from my save game folder. Keeps only my most recent saves backed up on the cloud and cuts down on sync time by a ton.
