So if you own multiple cars how can you switch to your sportcar and not the starter car, for the races

Hold V and release after a couple seconds.

The Shion Coyote was my fave for the racing. The Beast is a fine machine though I found it annoyingly "bouncy" on the offroad race. You do have to choose a little carefully for the final race against Sampson. If you choose a car that has windows that do not open (like the Aerondight or Caliburn) Claire cannot shoot Sampson.

Just drive the car you want to the race and then call her.
