annoying subtitle bug

Whenever I load into the game, Johnny always says, "Ha. House is rakin' it in. Wonder what the boss has to say about it." After saying this, the subtitles for this sentence remain on the screen permanently. I've tried exiting the game and reloading, even progressing the story further. Seems like it's a permanent feature now...... Any idea how to fix this?
