Yeah they use orbital space flights which would be way faster than modern airplanes.
They are sub-orbital.
You can literally noclip to a blocked island where you find a ship...so i hear.
DLC exists, my dude. This is 2021.
The developer has a modus operandi of bringing a lot back with DLC.
Accept it, because you're living it.
Cyberpunk2077: You see the hovercars. You be in one as a passenger once or twice. But NEVER will you EVER be able to DRIVE one.
Honestly, regardless of what is said about the game, logically, other games have done "multiple vehicles" better. In Cyberpunk, you basically "have a car". On the ground. Maybe one with an AI personality. But it's always going to be a car on the ground.
Anything else is "rail locked" into specific, very temporary moments/cut-scenes. So in regards to vehicles, we do seem to be lacking planes, boats and so on. In terms of being able to travel/attack in various styles in terms of vehicles.
It's actually something I hadn't even considered until this thread. But it is interesting to take note of.
I'll have to look for that! I had no idea, thanks!
You can also see ton of drones and rocket launches.
Also, wiki has an explanation:

Basically, there's no oil, and everybody is using CHOOH2, which is basically biofuel, but planes need petrol.
Now, the question is where this information is taken from. Because I don't recall seeing it on lore shards.
