Sniper Rifles with actual Sniper Rifle Capability

So. I love using a pistol with a silencer, but where is the sniper rifle with the same option...? Any sniper rifle should have this capability with a mod at least if not inherint...eg. "SNIPER RIFLE"

Honestly all the snipers in the game suck, You can kill long distance with Pistols and AR's just fine or just zoom your opticals and use quickhacks

This is accurate, but it shouldn't be that way, sniper rifle, should be doing this not a pistol, in a previous comment, I enjoy replicating this with the pistol

Considering nearly all highpowered rifles don't use a suppressor, but generally a muzzle brake, flash hider or compensator.

At range, sounds not your enemy, flash is, so a flash hider. Or recoil, hence a muzzle brake. Or multi shot accuracy, hence a compensator since reduces muzzle movement.

Suppressors aren't really a thing but in video games.

Tell that to 007, it is an issue because most snipers are in enemy territory, so excessive noise creates panic.

Ya do realize, that if ya using subsonic ammunition, to even make use of the suppressor, no point in having the rifle anyway? Once ya firing ammunition, e.i. High Powered, sonic booms. Suppressor or not. 007, in games and books, never had anything that powerful, as found in 2077.

Oh, and forgot to mention, they are suppressors. Not Silencer. Now, move along, and learn to use a sniper rifle.

Oh, and what you're calling snipers, are really not. They are all high powered rifles, meant for one thing. Penetration.

it having a supressor or not, has nothing to do with it. if it is made for precise long range shooting, it is a sniper rifle.

Sniper Rifle is not exactly a stealth weapon.

It is "We don't know where the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bastard is shooting from, so let's call an artillery strike an level the whole area" kind of weapon.

You'll be heard upon firing at huge distance. Meaning it is not silent.

Also, videogame "silencers" are fiction.

I have successfully use the long ranged rifle with awesome crit head damage throughout my playing of this game, but it lacks stealth as it should be a stealthier weapon.

Well first you definitely have no idea how real life fire arms work.
As others have said suppressors are only really effective with sub sonic ammo (and no sniper rifle in this world uses sub sonic ammo) Also in real life a sniper would never fire on this short distances like in this game untill he knows that he has been detected anyway. There is a reason why this is called a GAME. Oh and btw, the biggest problem any sniper would have in real life is the muzzle flash at night and definitely not the sound of the rifle.

You are quite mistaken here... the Russian VSS Vintorez (Vintóvka Snáyperskaya Spetsiálnaya literally translated to Special Sniper Rifle) is specifically chambered for sub sonic 9x39mm ammunition..

now, that is not saying that the genius making comments about needing a suppressor are more valid, because they are not... the "stealthy" part of the military or police sniper is not the weapon itself, but the person using that weapon. they are trained to avoid notice by their opposition to establish a point to fire from which is less likely to reveal their position.. Supressor equipped "sniper" rifles are largely an invention of Hollywood action movies, not real world experiences. Due to the distances involved, suppressors are rarely needed since the bullet strikes its' target several seconds before the sound reaches it, and that sound is already muddied up to make pinpointing a location beyond a general direction all but impossible.. Hence, the practice in Vietnam of dumping an artillery barrage on a suspected area, or opening up a dozen heavy machine guns, as was done in WW2 in urban areas.

incorrect, bond has only ever been depicted on screen firing a sniper rifle exactly once - a WA2000 during the cold open of the living daylights - and it was most definitely not fitted with a suppressor

there was a low-caliber survival weapon, the AR7, that appeared in from russia with love that was fitted with a custom suppressor, but it's not a sniper rifle
