NPC clothes

Why I can't find those fancy clothes in stores? All I can find is some office styled junk.
I've visited all stores on both sides of Nightcity in which there are only like 10 basic look with few different colours.

Where are translucent tops/trench-coats, overknee boots, feather sleeved tops, etc?

Can you even get the jacket that V wears in the promotion art because I honestly don't remember seeing it anywhere in my stash, inventory, or anywhere else in the game.

Yes, but you get it on a optional side quest that takes place almost at the end of the game.

It's fairly simple. All these clothes are made for the female body with female bits only, so pretty much the reason why they haven't made that available as they would need to adjust to male body and female body (with or without a d, if clothes actually morph to that as I've never tried). So in short, the whole genitals gimmick prevented us to get more variation on the clothing department.

The clothes we have do not fit our characters. What rack or gems you have do not matter

Glad you posted this INeedSleep, seems about the same amount that i have collected, wanted to post it myself a while back to show it's quite a lot you can get.

sure, a lot of those are repaints but still. i'm pretty sure they will add a lot of clothing over the next months.

but ofc there is more to buy, I need to eat some proteins and go shopping XD

PS: I try to fight everyone if possible and story wise I've done most of the sidemissions, all gigs, up to Takemura third meeting / voodoo boys at brigitte (didn't let her look at the chip so far and went away)

tech at 18 / crafting at only 11, perhaps still the one or other clothing to unlock

Am I missing something?
I see plenty of crafting utilities to improve armor ratings, etc -- so you can upgrade the gear you like the look of along with you.

Are people just missing this entire component of the game and complaining?
Are there actually detrimental limitations to upgraded gear at the highest level?
