BUG. I can't upgrade Iconic Weapons.

Okay I seem to be the only one with this issue so hopefully someone can help.

As the title states, I can't upgrade Iconic Weapons. To clarify, I have the iconic weapon still in my inventory. My Crafting is now 18. I have the Craft Rare,Epic, Legendary Perks. I have all materials needed.

On the crafting Page it's even highlighted properly. The same shade of other normal weapons. (Which I can craft just fine)

The craft button it self even says Craft and no longer says blocked. But it just dosen't work like the normal weapons. I click and it's like clicking the background, like it's not a button and just a sticker.

Sucks because I did a hacker playthrough, and now I'm late game almost maxed out my character. Specifically went into crafting (last minute descion) because I thought it'd be useful late game. All that time wasted -_-

PS This happens with ALL Iconic Weapons in the Crafting and Upgrade tabs.

Please help!

Remember you need the actual weapon in your inventory to craft the next version of an iconic gun.

if you sell or disassamble the original there is no way to upgrade it

I'm not sure but it might be that upgrading the iconic weapons basically raises their level so if your character level is lower than the item you can't upgrade it until your on the appropriate character level.

Most of the iconic weapons need to be upgrades once or twice before you can upgrade them to orange. sometimes you need to go to purple first then orange. johnnys items are low so have to go blue, then purple and finally orange.

I had 4 copies stuck in my inventory for all of johnnys gear the entire time.

I am aware of that, and do start from the lowest level. It's seriously like the button is just disabled for me :/

Yeah, shouldn't be a problem with your level then. Sounds like it's bugged then unless there's something all of us are missing here. I've been upgrading them myself without a problem and seems everything you've done should allow you to upgrade. Sucky. =/

I think I'm the only person with this glitch -_-
I can't find anything on this topic, everyone just thinks I'm stupid and don't have the gun.
I was such a big defender of the game to, but this bug really pisses me off though.

Hello i have the same glitch, i used a mod to recover my iconic items i dismantled (thinking i had the recipe to craft them again...) But now there's just 1 item, that i can't upgrade which is the Divided We Stand, from the roof party mission.

Another iconic weapon which was buggeed too, i could recover it because i have it in the Warehouse (at my home).

I think the command which creates the item of the mod (tweak engine) doesn't create the item properly and the recipe do not identify the item, so the recipe cannot be done.

Maybe you can try to download the mod again and create the iconic items you need again, with some luck they have fixed the code and now you will be able to upgrade them.

To upgrade, you do not click that button. You need to hold it down and wait for the progress effect to complete.

i have the same bug. For me i dont even see the iconic weapon in the upgrade menu. For some reason, my satori and the dildo does not show in the upgrade menu. However, all of my other weapons including an iconic lizzies gun and widowmaker show in the upgrade menu.
