Fact: New Vegas Had More Life than Night City!
A city in a 2010 game has more life than Cyberpunk's Night City. It's not even a point of contention.

And Hol Up! Before anybody comes to some weird conclusions, I never said Cyberpunk was a bad game nor did I say it wasn't fun. I'm just pointing out a reality of the game.

Honestly, the most impressive thing about Night City is watching TV and reading the internet. Fact!

(And yes, I realize what I said is actually an opinion, and there may be people who find rocks more lifelike than any videogame city. It's cool if you love Night City.)

It is also a bit easier when you are effectively making a DLC vs the entire game from the ground up.

Not a DLC it was more like a Total Conversions.
There wer so many Systems that wer not in the Original Code of Fallout 3 and so many new Assets for the Game.

18 Months of Hard Work and the last chance for the Studio to survive (Alpha Protocol was a huge flop) and they made so many great Quest with good Storys and so many Decisions.
This was a Love Letter to Fallout and a True RPG.

Wat was made in 8Years in CP?
+Good Dance and Guitar Animations for NPCs.
+Good looking City
+Nice Graphics
+Linear but good Story
+The Romance NPC had good Quest

This was made in 8 Years...

The whole Game dont know what it want to be and is now a Bad Looter Shooter, a Bad Open World Game, a Bad Ego Shooter and not even a RPG.

It was also the entire engine driving it, both visually and mechanically. They had Red III as a basis, but that didnt cover most of what they needed. So not really comparable because NV, all the heavy work was done and they just had to build onto it.

Halo ODST another example. Built off of Halo 3. New mechanics and stuff sure, but still mostly a previous game.

Ever hear of Team Fortress or Alien Swarm? Not from scratch. Built off the developed and refined mechanics of another game.

It hurts seeing all those CDPR Fanboys cant accept the Fact that this games has worse Ai,physics and mechanics then games of the 2000s.They only need to see a good animation and say "MASTERPIECE".and there are 90s games where the police can chase you but not in this "next gen" game.Wake up fanboys you can like this game but you cant say that this game is technicaly good.I know amertuer games that have better Physics and ai

I disagree and I am a huge NV fan. Looking forward to the Fallout 4 New Vegas mod even. Cyberpunk to me feels like a better Bethesda game entirely to be honest. Also your memory must be shot just like the couriers because the AI is very basic in NV, and thats putting it lightly. This game was clearly rushed before reaching its max potential but there is still a lot here from the beginning.. with more on the way including future updates, DLC, and most importantly mod support in some way. Sounds familiar to the launch of NV to me.

And this is only the start. When Bethesda games are released they don't plan on "fixing" them unless there are severe problems. Far as I'm concerned the AI itself has been determined a placeholder. Something that had basic functionality, which it does. Police spawning out of nowhere though? cant wait until its FIXED.

TL:DR - Old game not always better than new game, new game more complex thus requiring more and more resources and time. New game is 100% more dense than old game and developer is openly announcing updates to fix the game to make it better/possibly add features in. Something old game developer would have stayed silent about simply because game is "finished".

Can you explain how this feels like a better Bethesda game? This doesn't feel anything like a Bethesda game to me. I've been playing all their titles since Morrowind. ESO and 76 excluded. The only thing this has in common with Bethesda games are levels and attributes and loot. I think Bethesda games does all those things better than this game.. The loot is a joke in this game. I was finding epic gear better than legendary gear.

P.S before you say it I'm not a Bethesda fanboy. I think they've been going downhill myself.

I cannot disagree more. I was a Bethesda fan until after Oblivion.
I see C2077, exactly as any Witcher, as hundred times a better game than anything Bethesda did since Oblivion. Fallout 3 and 4: much worse than 1 and 2 OR NV, incredibly shallow, gameplay boring, story written by a child with little imagination. Skyrim - good sandbox, bad game, bad writing, boring quests. I tried several times to finish it because all my friends hype it and I just can't, too boring. After F76 it is obvious that Bethesda is dead to me.

CDPR, on the other side, makes such games that I finished every single on of them, yes, even Witcher 1 (which I loved despite the combat) and Witcher The Thronebreaker. And I finished them not because I am a huge CDPR fan, but because they make good games, with good writing and story and characters.

Dead Money DLC for New Vegas was better than Cyberpunk.

The only things that all of Bethesda games feels right to me is the loots and exploration. You can get better loots but the older gear that you have is still relevant. In the older Bethesda game the choice matter element is much better. All guild quest are conflicting with each other with many require you to kill the others, they bring this back in the last Fallout 4 but the story is so terrible that people focus on that instead. Cyberpunk choice do matter except the only difference is whether you can continue the quest or not. It feels like another cut content to me.

The exploration in Bethesda game is really good and it is interesting to explore the lore of that place while doing so. You can do the same in Cyberpunk but many location dont really feel unique while unique location dont have any event at all. It is weird and feels like they really rush this game and it meant to have content double or triple of the current content.

My favorite is still Morrowind, that game top the new vegas in my book. Half of it probably due to nostalgia but playing it first time is really mind blowing back then. When New Vegas released it is not that special back then but they managed to do everything just right.

You mean to say Fallout 3 is better than NV, or are you comparing the combat of NV to the one from CP?

Fallout 3 is a far superior game to New Vegas in my opinion, all New Vegas did differently was weapon mods (which was great) but the main enemies? oh its a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pretending to be Roman Legions lmao and the map terrain sheeesh, some people used to moan about the grey colour palette for fallout 3, yeah they really spiced things up with the brown/adobe for New Vegas, and the world they built was trash too, so many mistakes all over the map, i still played it mainly because i wanted more fallout 3 but it never came close to Fallout 3 for me and many others.

All NV did differently was bring in some actual writers.

New Vegas isn't a Bethesda game, it was made by Obsidian who were at the time a mash up of former developers of the original Fallout games, that's why NV is their best game it wasn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ made by them.

Its a Borderlands feature since 2009,called "looter/shooter" you loot and explore,NV was not done by Bethesda it was done by Obsidian so that why its not a tourist sim like everything else Bethesda does, but still even Bethesda games have more interaction in the world like non one-linear NPC's that actually give you quests instead of just nice and shiny filler crowd.

Yeah I know borderland, finish 1 and 2 and havent touch 3 yet, considering it seriously between that or outer world with recent dlc. Never a fans of looter shooter and pretty disappointed that CP use that instead of Fallout mechanics. Borderland is good if played with friends. Not really considering it if playing it solo.

I know NV made by obsidian, your stats matter more in NV and the conversation feels much closer to the original Fallout or those classic RPG. All of that is good games. Not a fans of outer world but it is still a pretty solid RPG no matter what and I want to play that again with latest DLC now in Steam.

All Bethesda or Obsidian NPC has schedule assigned to them you can follow them all day and you can clearly tell what they are doing on daily basis. Cyberpunk dont have this.
