you could always go back to animal crossing, but thats the enviroment of cyberpunk and always was.
Well, i guess this dystopia has supet exterminators:)
In game, the news anchor states that MS is incurable currently.
Also, it is up to the game's writers/creators to state what is and is not possible in the game they are making, not you.
For example - the movie Elysium - the technology to cure literally anything exists, but part of the point of the plot is that this amazing tech is hoarded and not shared, meaning that it is deprived from those who need it.
this implies that not only are cats scarce, but even the strays, meaning there is nothing for them to feed on, no mice, not enough leftover from humans. Society AND the ecosystems have collapsed, even those under the surface of the city. One of the things that makes a dystopian setting a bit of a copout until the give us the reasons why and build on it, which I think they did ok. It just makes sense, and they filled the world with enough other things, albeit bugged to hell.
Takamura will mention that it's the first animal he's seen in this city that isn't a Cockroach. But also say that he thinks it might be a sprit. And start a conversation about the dead. Where he's from. And how he got to be where he was.
Johnny will hang around but not say anything. Once he fades away. The cat will jump away as well.
Yeah and in the 80s we thought 2020 would have flying cars and hoverboards.
They talk it in one of those reading shards... they kill them all inside the city and surroundings.
Yes, how convenient that the 33 year old IP killed off all the animals so that CDPR wouldn't have to deal with it
