NPC ai is limited because the last gen consoles have ♥♥♥♥ cpu's, so yeh, that's a problem.
VS like cyberpunk where you can avoid bosses, or manage to weaken em with clever, not obvious puzzles where you can decide to be direct or complex in going about something?
One of the fantastic bits of CP map design is the level of complexity to how you can approach.
Next playthrough is going to be a full on genocide run, just to see how it all changes.
I love driving around, but I try to avoid the fast travel and looking at the map too much. I really like taking screenshots, so I keep finding interesting stuff while looking for photo ops. Like bumping into fixers all over the place.
Quest 1. Anna Hammil Quest. The narrative for this one continues well after original conclusion potentially. My solution found tidbits hiding in map and even a passing radio broadcast
Quest 2. Barry. Not even a given quest. It is found via just eavesdropping... Depending on how you resolve, you might notice a change on the map...
Absolutely. They lost points in my review cause of that. An unfinished/rushed/filler feature will usually detract from a play experience more than if it had not been there at all.
I'm sure some of you have caught that radio broadcast on morro rock, Where the station host talks about his netrunner friend who claimed the dark web is literal hell, And Netwatch has roots in the vatican. The Wall is meant to keep Hell out of the real world, she claimed. She also talked about how Bartmoss didn't bring down the web for the reasons people believed, he was trying to cut off Hell from the rest of the world.
He claimed he knew his netrunner friend for many years, and she was a brilliant person, not the type to spew conspiracy theories.
At first I just thought this was your usual game chatter but...after that I started seeing things a little differently. Weird symbols on the walls that looked demonic in some missions, Hearing and reading chatter that sounded like it was referencing things like demons and gates.
The tipping point was the CyberPyscho mission where the Pyscho drew a Devil's star on the ground with the blood of her victims, stuck some bodies in a cold bath, and then came crawling out of it all wacked out when you arrive.
I don't know if this stuff is going to go anywheres later on with Alt or anything, and I've only finished one ending so Idk if it's referenced in Johnny's side or whatever, But there is deff some kind of Demonic issue in Night city, and the world as a whole.
