Keanu Reeves apologists are worse then CDPR apologists

Keanu's VA is absolutely atrocious in this game. He is so ridiculously wooden and flat, it's jarring to hear him speak alongside the other voice actors who are all talented and clearly giving their best effort. Even CohhCarnage (streamer who plays Gary the Prophet) has a better performance then Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves.

Yet I see people defending this, as if this is some 'grand vision' that CDPR had for Johnny Silverhand, mostly 15 yr olds who think John Wick is the only thing Keanu is known for. Well, it isn't. If you've ever seen Point Break or Speed, you'd know the guy can actually act and put some emotion into his delivery.

Keanu no doubt was a massive money sink for CDPR, he probably had a higher fee then many of the other VA combined. He deserves to be called out for this monotone, teleprompter-reading acting he gave.

Yes, money should have been spent on the development and quality assurance instead of Hollywood celebrities.

Keanu Reeves could be a huge + to the game. But production killed what could be done together with him.
Chances are this was due to his agreement. And ended up he overtook the star position from V and the player became less than a sidekick in Silverhand's mercy.

The German voice is great.
The guy has always done localization for Keanu Reeves.
And the voice is the only thing that seems familiar to me
The visual is really bad - CDPR certainly wouldn't have needed motion capture for that
