Brendan the talking vending machine help
i do not own the game but my friend has basically beat the game and this is the only side mission he knows of he has not completed yet, i have been watching him and the side mission isnt available. there is a guy trying to repair it and never leaves even when skipping time. is there a specific time in the game it can only be done or does he have to be nomad or street thug because he is a corpo? not sure and cant find any information on it other than how to talk to him but he isnt able to talk to him due to the repair guy.

I randomly came across this quest at some point. Didn't see anyone doing any repairs. I think I was there in the middle of the day so might be worth your friend waiting a day or so then coming back at lunch time.

Gotta be Streetkid to do the talking vending machine quest, at least that is what I read.

I did it as a Nomad.


@OP From memory there are a few parts to this quest. The first is moving a dumpster out of front of him. I believe the second was doing an errand for his lady friend. And the third is when he gets removed to be "fixed". The only repair guy is in the place where he gets updated. I'm not sure if it's even required to talk to the repair guy at all but I did anyways. If it isn't then Brenden is located in the corner to the right of the repair guy.

ty, he was doing it too early in the morning so yeah middle of the day made it pop up.

I played as Corpo and Nomad...
Now i will describe everything
It randomly appeared as quest mark first, i came near, and mechanic was repairing it and actually programming it, teaching things. Later, when sentient, he asked me to move trash bin, giving me free drinks. Later he was chatting with chick. Even later, he was being sprayed by some guy - i beat him. Every time it appears as quest mark on map and every time you can chat and talk and by the end he will tell something very surprising to you
