Im using a V-Moda Crossfade on my Cyberpunk Xbox Controller I bought for this game specifically. I don't have any stuttering on any other game than this, so I figured there might be a quick fix or a trick I could do. I think the fact that Im using my controller is affecting this slightly but I read Im not the only one encountering this as well. So I'll just play some other stuff till this gets fixed or patched properly.
Ok so my suspicion was correct than, the help these two are offering won't work since Im doing the one thing that has no fix LMAO of course I always find the interesting issues I swear
Huh?
Get yourself a 3.5 mm to usb adapter and plug into your pc.
You should be able to change the settings they described then.
Whats worse Is Im using the CYBERPUNK CONTROLLER
Thanks for this info and laugh as I needed it. I don't kid when I say I find the dumbest issues in games lol
I have one but it just isnt long enough as I use my TV as my monitor and the tower sits under it. I don't like having cables on my floor :(
Another option is to ensure your PC settings aren't set to 5.1 sound. I didn't read every response, but I know mine defaults back to that every time Windows updates, etc. So I have to flip it back down to a 2.1 set up when using headphones.
The only possible configuration for audio coming out of the xbox controller is stereo (2 channels), it will never try to pipe 5.1 audio through it. The driver just doesn't support it. Because speaker configuration is playback device specific, and the x-box controller is the playback device, this can't be his problem.
Yea the issue for me it seems is that Im using a controller while using the headset, and because of that it has a set sound setting. I normally play without a headset but because I wanted to chat on discord with friends an play I wanted to figure out why I had the stutter. Im going to close this board to stop spammin these nice ppl as as well move on since it is a issue but also not really as I can play just without a headset is all.
Thanks again to those of you who took the time to assist my inept self with this!
