Gig: Getting Warmer still not working

After another update that says it fixed it, im once again staring at the npc I'm supposed to save but im unable to do anything because of the bug. any fix or do i need to scrap this 99% character?

usually when a bug is fixed it means the bugged mission should be restarted.

do you have an earlier save?

any save would be hours ago because i found this bug when i was doing a bunch of other side stuff

Mild Spoilers regarding this mission below:

This mission is still bugged for me too.

I received this gig hours and hours prior to any save I'd be willing to reload - so much has happened.

My mission simply says "Enter the building" and once I do (and I have "entered" MANY different ways) the mission simply doesn't update.

I can incapacitate the hostiles; find 8UG8EAR; see them crying for help; see the coolant (but when I pick it up it stays on the sink); but cannot use the coolant. If I try to disconnect 8UG8EAR the game softlocks during the animation and I have to load a save. This all happens while I still have to "Enter the building."

It is still bugged in the exact same way, and there is no way loading a previous save is possible - I might as well restart the game with how much progress I've made since being sent this quest by the fixer.

If anyone know how to scuff past the event chain and rescue 8UG8EAR safely, please let me know.

the only thing you can do is continue the game and do everything and once you've done everything, load an old save and do the bugged mission again. once you do it you'll get the achievement for it. i'm assuming you're going for achievement if you're trying for a 100% run.

i had to do the same with gig: freedom of the press.

Got the same bug. Quest is marked but I don't get the phone call. My quest marker says "Undiscovered - Who knows what you might find?"

Without the phone call, non of the other triggers are firing.

My save from before going to the area was like 100 hours ago, so no going back for me (at least there was a legendary inner torso item with 4 slots in that room with her).

Had the same bug. So when I went in the second time I picked the coolant up first without looking at computer or her, then gave her coolant without using computer. That computer is bugged.

Absolutely nothing. And just like the others - it is the last gig for me.
