Holoskin - cut content ?

Hello !

During your quest with Panam, you can buy cyberware at the nomad camp. The guy selling it talks about "holoskin" and "camouflaging" cyberware to increase stealth. However, he doesn't sell it (maybe with higher reputation ? But I already have 42 rep).

Was this cut from the final release or is it just for lore ? Does someone know ?

I'm fairly certain I had an encounter in the badlands where an NPC went into a cloaked mode against me.

An NPC who has something the PC can't have ? Well, that's how this game works apparently xD but it would be nice to see it, at least.

I wondered about that too. I'm thinking it was cut so it could be repackaged as "Goodwill DLC" after the storm settles

It was cut out. But you can get it by using console commands. There's a video somewhere on YouTube on how to get it.

Probably cut content. The closest you can get to a stealth cloak now is the legendary Arasaka Software mod for Sandevistan cyberware which reduces enemy detection time by 70% while Sandevistan active

We know it is in the game in that at minimum NPCs do have it. At least visually is there, as for how it works mechanically?

The console was removed in 1.05. Trying to use it now CTD's the game.
