What is with the "I don't have any bugs" crowd?
Seriously, it's bizarre. I keep trying to look at Reddit megathreads to decide whether to purchase it or not and it's almost swarms of people saying their saves got corrupted, missions glitched out and people just mindlessly reply with "l0l no bugs here m8"

?? Even if true, what does it mean to accomplish? Does it seek to exonerate CDPR of releasing this messy broken game that CLEARLY people are struggling with? is it a humble brag?

In fact in both his Angry Rants, AngryJoe (just as an example of someone who really liked CDPR) literally shouts @ these kind of people with a "good for you" in all caps (with his trademarked rant). This is also seen with DF, Skill Up, etc.

Seriously curious. People who respond to these threads about glitches/disappointment/bugs with "_ hours so far, ZERO bugs! GOTY!" are you just stating it to counter the negativity or something? I never saw this with Skyrim, or even Arkham Knight (and that was yanked off the Steam store, too).

Well, I mean if AngryJoe shouts at these people it must be true.

His opinion is clearly valid.

Whoever he is.

It's fine, like fine as when Witcher 3 got released, bit buggy in the begining but got fixed pretty fast.

It's a relly good game.

Some people, myself included have had very little in the way of bugs. In the 100 hours in game the worst bug was getting out of my car and falling through the earth. I've seen some graphic glitches but not that often considering my play time.

The ai is generally bad for most people, but ramping it up to very hard improves the challenge some.

I have no stake in CDPR or the game, i just simply did not experience the rough end.

Lol

I mentioned him because he is a very well documented CDPR "fanboy" aside from being a fairly popular game reviewer, he even has some very...cringe video moments of him dancing to TW3 music and flying out to visit CDPR.

Didn't mean it in an authority sense but thanks for assuming I guess...

They probably don't notice or realize it's a bug.

Another bug I noticed is being unable to loot the droids unless it's green or higher rarity. The problem is sometimes even then it's tricky to loot as you have to be at a certain angle and sometimes when they die they die in the air where I shot them and I can't access them.

There was this one blue item on a droid and he died in the air. I jumped like 25 times off of a rail and had to time the loot button just perfectly as I was falling to loot.

Another bug is this mod that lets you give yourself a health boost when you activate it. Doesn't work.

There are quite a few little bugs here and there. Hopefully it all get worked out. I'm sure it will.

I think there is your answer. He was a fan boy. Ex fan boys are like ex smokers, don't dare light up around em :P

Because some people want to make it seem like the game is unplayable because of bugs, but that is not the case.

PS! Angry Joe yells because that gets him views and views get him money.

117 hours in and the bugs are minor. Nothing game-breaking. The worst bug that I experienced was a dead enemy that was glitching out so bad he was shooting pixel rays across my monitor. I just turned and jogged away. Water off a duck's back. Not a big deal.

Honestly, Valhalla had worse bugs than this, and that game was pretty good. The bugs in that game were so bad that when they happened you had to stop playing and reload the game. For example, there were many times I got stuck just walking through the snow.

There's nothing wrong with that crowd, that actually just how software works. No one is claiming the game is bug free, but what you have to understand is not everyone plays the same way. This is why you don't have one person bug test a game you have an entire team do it.
There's always going to be a portion that experiences way more bugs, or way less bugs than others, just how it is.

I hardly had any bugs/glitches and I played almost 100 hours. People love the drama.

Nah, I don't think anybody can claim to have no bugs. Serious answer would be that even CDPR admits there's a whole lot of them that can even stop your progress in some conditons. Truth of the matter is, IMHO, that whenever you claim something on the Internet some Troll magically appears with the incredible ability to derive pleasure from the idea of causing you frustration when you read that your opinion or perception must be false .

I'm lucky that my rig runs it at max with high FPS. I see bugs but not many. Like my vehicle might get stuck once in a while but i just reload (solid state drive helps with the re load time). I never ran into anything that stopped me from finishing a quest. I definitely see the shadow issues and the bad AI and such (apparently that's a bug and fixable) but not a ton of actual bugs.
Minty Dec 23, 2020 @ 9:21am
I genuinely don't.

Sometimes the AI cars do weird things like go haywire and drive into walls or into barricades, and sometimes my character accelerates for no reason when moving beside certain objects, but that's about it.

I don't get t-posing, I never fall through the world, I don't get a lot of pop-in, and so on, but remember that a lot of the bugs we see occur in console versions of the game which, in my opinion, should not even exist.

This game should have been made for the PC. Period. If consoles eventually caught up, great. That said, there was no excuse for this to work on a PS4.

It's because the people claiming to have bugs out the tuckus are also using this to say the game is garbage and nobody should buy, play, or like it. As if their own, personal experiences are the only ones possible to have with the game, and thus, Cyberpunk 2077 in particular and CDPR in general should be condemned, scorched-earth style.

TL;DR, the folks making a fuss have gone overboard and need a counter-balance. That's why.
