well there is not much to do in the "open world", they just tripled the absolutely awful bandit camps from witcher 3 and called it "police hustles", even the side gigs are often reskinned of the same thing (save someone, get info, upload virus, kill someone..)

Let's try to break it down. When you label your game as RPG, it has to be RPG. When you label your game as Adult game, it has to be Adult game. Etc.

They promised us a lot, A LOT, of RPG features/mechanics which were supposed to be in this game. When they literally evaporate RPG as a label for Cyberpunk 2077, it means that they are not going to add ♥♥♥♥ to this game apart from some bug fixes, and moneygrab DLCs

neither open world nor rpg has anything to do with sandbox elements. but yeah they doubtedly would add any. like in we, its just not a sandbox

true. true. I saw some people comparing games from like the early 2000s and obviously aside from gfx it falls short at pretty much everything else.

Well it seems a bit open world to me. I selected the gig as my main mission so the waypoint is off the GPS map, then with Over 16 hours and I STILL have not gone to the bar and met that woman from the main story. I been fighting some crime, making some money, driving around the city, boosted some cars from the bad guys, boosted their bikes too, which is leveling me up. Crating some stuff, upgrading some stuff, watching TV, listening to the radio, takein a shower and going to bed, getting drunk, hitting on chicks, and so forth. But then again, I am not sheep either, nor hung up on this GTA. heck, I Do not even own that because it is not my kind of game genre.
But this game, I am starting to really like it a lot.

Which has me thinking that the haters are really GTA players with low end PC's, who just want to to do killing sprees on innocent people and cops so they can get their mass murder on. And this is not going to fallow suit because it is NOT GTA. So the entire game is ruining it for them.
Were I look at a game for what it is, it's own thing, not anything more. So I am not obsessed with all this nonsense really.
