Are you kidding me? How is wallhack immersive? Very hard is already too easy as it is but I have wallhacks on top of it?
Are you using wallhacks in other fps games too? I doubt it, you will get instant vac ban.
This. In the PnP RPG there were a lot of cyberoptic options such as thermal sight or infrarred that allowed that kind of "wall-through" seeing. Heck, you didn't even need "tech" weapons to shoot an enemy behind a cover or a wall; bullets from a common assault rifle could easily punch through a brick wall and hit a target behind it...
And why settle for mediocrity? I didnt had this problem with Borderlands3 or Fallout4. Not to mention any online fps. I dont want to know where my enemies constantly, it ruins element of suprise.
My hope is that there will be some addons or mods to remove huds. Going to shelf this game for now.
i do agree that using ping and then just killing everyone from behind a wall is a cheesy way to play though. i dont do it either.
Also fallout 4 does do this, enemies appear on radar before youve even spotted them. its far less immersive than this game where they have actually explained how it works. Your software hacks into the local antenna that the enemies are networked too. The data is fed to your high tech eye implant you receive at the start of the game to give you real time tracking.
In the same way an enemy netrunner with similar tech can set you on fire from a mile away.
if you dont want the hud you could try removing the eye implant. i havent tried to see what happens.
I know how much strategy gamers love the fog of war, but you won't get that in a cheeseball shooter game like this.
I actually only play fps games and I never had this problem other games. Okay maybe overwatch with widow wallhack, but I dont play that class and it lasts few sec with long wait for ulti. Besides I havent played that game in ages.
There is no break immersion with weapons in this game. you are in an era where technology is advanced. Today's military already has the ability to see through smoke with thermal scopes. This is the future and now you can see behind physical cover. If you don't like it don't use a smart weapon
I dont use smart weapon. I svitched to pistols and still have this problem. And I dont care whatkind lore you give me as excuse, I want gameplay which is not based on predictability.
