What are all these fuseboxes for?

I'm guessing it relates to something cut out of the "final" version of the game, but has anyone found a reason for the fuseboxes? Several netrunner locations and some side missions have them and it requires Technical skill to open them, but I can't see that they affect anything in game.
They don't control (or power) cameras or turrets, and the only XP you get is for opening the panel...

I don't think I've seen these. Do they look similar to the data points you can jack into?

They look like a standard circuit breaker box. They don't always highlight from scanning, but otherwise are plain grey boxes,

Same here.. I think the plan was maybe to power down cams and turrets but it`s not implemented :/ however extra tech exp is allways good for my built

Yeah, they're like the one during the resting moment in Riders on The Storm, you just kind of fiddle with it and close it. They're vertical rectangles, standard gray metal with a symbol on them iirc.

Yeah. That may be their only purpose, but I'll take it.
(Also manually disarming mines vs using hacks is great for gaining large amounts of Tech xp.)

There are actually a tonne that do a lot, I've used a handful in side missions for specific purposes. Also if you want to use one for something cool check out the roller coaster in Pacifica
