Stop people getting out of your grabs from behind

When you sneak up on some people, they cancel your grab.

Is there a way to stop this?

Enemies higher level than you can slip out of your grab. The tutorial at the beginning explains this and lets you try it out. Having a higher body stat lets you hold on to them longer.

Even better is when the game shows F to grab, then doesn't finish the grab, and then you get detected instead.

I've only had one grab misfire in 115 hours, but that enemy was rated 'Very High' at the time.

I haven't put any points into Body. Just Intelligence and Cool.

it appears that you can grab anyone that is rated moderate, aside from robots.

tbh the stealth in this game is crap and i barely used it.

they get out of your grabs, because they are stronger than you, increase your body stat.
