Cyberpsycho sighting: bloody ritual bugged?

Having an issue with this mission not completing.

UPDATE: Many here have mistaken the problem as the mission not triggering or progressing. In clarifying the issue is not that the cyberpsycho does not appear or that the objects cannot be scanned. The issue is that despite scanning everything and defeating the cyberpsycho after the crawls out of the tub that the mission does not complete.

Keep scanning the area, took a while for it to advance for me as well but I just kept scanning anything and everything I could find and eventually it advanced.

There's two more things to scan I forgot as well. One behind the dumpest on the left, the construction guy and the blood cloth behind the tub in the center.

You have to do it at a time of day where it's dark outside. I had to reload a save before i scanned anything, set the time to midnight, and then rescan everything to get it to work.

There is one item you need to click on for this thing to crawl out from the fridge. Keanu will stand next to it and basically point this out to you.
I did this at night so this could be factor also.

Yeah, she crawled out of the fridge and I killed her already. Like I said the mission paid out but did not complete. Her body still shows as being gold on the scanner but scanning her does nothing.

The mission is bugged.

You have to read a specific chard that you loot from one of the bodies or the psycho themselves. Look at journal in your inventory then shards, look for ones with a yellow icon and click on each one. Then look at messages, look for Regina and click reply to her message of the Psycho.

I've read theories about scanning objectives before entering the mission area buggering it up.

I really don't think some of the people here understand the problem. Everything has been scanned that can be scanned, I read the shard, I fought the woman, I received payment for completing the job.

The problem is not that I need to do something more in order to complete the mission the problem is that the mission was completed but is still reading as active.

Fair enough.
I didnt. All I did was enter the vicinity, looked around for clues and finished it without any problems.
Took me a while to find last clue but there were no bugs encountered.

In fact, I have never encountered any bugs related to quests or anything game breaking at all.

Edit: Actually thats not entirely true, just remembered stuck Arasaka guard in the elevator during heist, but that wasnt really game breaking, just easy to defeat him.

some quests bug if you solve them in an not intended order.

ones I took a hostage before I cleared a certain spot, cleared the sport afterwards and couldn't progress with the body.

reloaded cleared the sport prior and all worked fine

or a meeting between to parties, one was stuck in the road only the roof of the car and the heads emerged, blew the car up and finished the mission

else not that many bugs at all, then suddenly here and there a flying car, now for 30 hrs again no bugs

to trigger such a thing should be this hard to do or be this confusing. I scanned everywhere, feel like a clicked on everything, then gave up 80 hours ago. Just came back with a ton more game experience and still cant figure out what I am missing. rediculous

I'm having an issue where I sent one reply to regina after finishing the bloody ritual cyberpsycho mission then went and finished several other cyberpsycho missions, then realized I had another unsent reply from the bloody ritual to regina and now it won't let me send it. It's an obvious reload and do it in the right order to fix it, but I'd rather not. Right now the mission seems to be stuck at wait for regina to update you on the cyberpsycho mission. I've finished them all, just hoping it closes out.

Edit: well after waiting for a while, she eventually called me. Worried over nothing.

Had a bug where the quest wouldn't progress if a left the quest area and came back. The psycho just wouldn't spawn from the fridge.

Rather unfortunate since there's one of those hack points RIGHT~ above and outside the quest area, within easy reach with the super jump legs.

Fixed it by reloading the auto save, and doing the quest & fight in one swoop, BEFORE the redoing the hack.
