Stuck on Disasterpiece

My objective is : Ask Wakako about the XBDS with the death's-head moth but It gives me no objective markers, no notes, I've tried calling Wakako and get no answer, I've tried googling and no one even mentions this quest.. It's the main story, what the heck am I meant to do? :(

I never talked to wakako...I just bought the BD from a shady guy in a tunnel close to where you get this quest.

I had this problem too. I solved it by completing another quest I thought I completed earlier. I think it's "Out on the Street or "Down on the Street." The final part of the quest was "Talk to Takemura." Luckily he was already standing right outside Wakako's office. Then when I did, I got a prompt to wait a day for him to call. I waited for 24h and when he called, the mission completed. I was in her office at the time, the moment that mission resolved she put down the phone and I was able to talk to her.

did u get it fixed? i started a 2nd playthrough and this happened to me too.

I never got it fixed, literally had to reload a save hours back and it only ended up working then. No clue if its since been patched and fixed proper, I stopped playing this game literally years ago.
