Apparently all posts on Reddit sub are mostly negative. Steam is at least better
the Steam discussion is not that negative in comparison to the reddit. All reddit posts I scroll through are all negative

Steam Review score is also a lot more accurate for people's opinion.... than say, Meta Critic.... or any other place you can 'post a review' without even owning the game.

I feel like this game company started out as a bunch of ambitious and talented guys wanting to make games. And once they got successful that is where all the "inclusion" krap came into play. And now we have echos of SJW sabotage....a lot of pandering, a lot of social themes.

Rarely are people who preoccupy themselves with stuff very talented. I fear for the worst. This company is never going to be the same. The formula is simple: hire talented game developers, dont do it based on gender or anything else.

I really like this game... not looking to argue.. and can see why others are upset. I for one love it tho..

not entirely true. as the first response put it best " steam is a semi-hivemind ". people will try to tarnish a game and sound clever by making up issues that don't exist or reviewbomb a game for the inclusion of historical female figures lol.
compared to metacritic? it's a paradise.

Reddit is the second worst echo chamber on the internet. Closely behind Twitter.

Maybe it's because of this guy who posted here yesterday, about joining him on reddit, in his fight against evil.

Not entirely. The "up or down" system doesn't quite reflect reviews that well. You're stuck to a 0 or 10 rating that doesn't reflect overall opinion. For example, I'm withholding a review entirely because this game doesn't deserve a thumbs down but also doesn't deserve a thumbs up.

Quite a few reviews both good and negative are troubled in that they either like it enough or hate it enough to go either way and chose one or the other on the basis of lacking a middle ground.

And then you have reviews like "My female V has a penis. 10/10" which is geared toward getting Steam points and likes more than actually reviewing the game.

So neither Metacritic or Steam is really quite accurate regardless of how you look at it since one lets anybody with a computer review and the other has two extremes to choose from when a game may be middling.
Trueeee... but if you put a scale of 1-10, then what represents what? It's easier to say 'yay if you think the game is playably enjoyable, nay if it's NOT playably enjoyable.' I ESPECIALLY with how review scores nowadays think that anyhing not a 8.5/10 equals BAD game. 5/10 means it's an average, run-of-the-mill experience. Nothing note worthy or just a balance of good and bad that made the experience just... bland. Go below that and you have POOR games. Go above that and you have potentially GOOD games.

Reading most positive reviews on Steam, they sound more negative than positive to me. But the people are bloody fanboys and dont want to give a thumb down because CDPR is their mom, dad, sister, girlfriend, whatever.

the game is a broken incomplete mess, steam users are mostly normies who cant tell the difference between art and trash

Do it like in school. 1-5. Like GOG. And on GOG the game has a 3.8. This is everything but good for such a huge budget game.
