Sadly this is exactly what capitalism is you sheep.
No, your understanding of socialism comes from fake news and propaganda. Socialism is an economic system based on the so-called collective ownership, which boils down to the state owning/controlling everything (no private property beyond personal possessions) and citizens being just state employees. And no, they are not compensated based on individual effort and innovation, that’s pure capitalism (merit system).
Salaries in a socialist system are usually fixed at the same level for everyone and go up equally in accordance with years served. That is considered fair. As a matter of fact, the system stifles innovation and free thought, has to rely on the theft of intellectual property, always ends up as a totalitarian hellhole and ultimately fails. Happens every time.
Communism is the utopian “final stage” of socialism where everyone is provided according to their “needs.”
You guys are both wrong to some extend. Because you are using fake socialist systems as an example, or at least how it went down there as an example.
I know that this is a scientific way of proving things but ultimatively these aren't the ideas behind socialism and communism. You both don't know shi.. about it as you are both capitalist products and probably victim of the American education system.
Sad, just some 16 yrs olds big mouthing at each other like they have a clue.
The fact it's completely voluntary means it cannot be socialism. The "mutual aid" is without recourse to force or compulsion. Aka, no government bodies. It's literally less government than libertarianism (at least, modern libertarianism).
"noun: anarchism
belief in the abolition of all government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion."
Unless the corp control the government. Which is likely the case for Cyberpunk and NC. Then it will be just people and the corp. No small SME or anything along the way. Just people and very large corop.
I have children older than you, sit down and be quiet. I studied these things in college in 70s, before you were born. “Fake socialist systems”, “it’s just never been implemented correctly” and other BS is surely the hallmark of great wisdom and superior knowledge. You can’t prove it but you just know there must be a “scientific way” to prove that I am wrong, somewhere. Try to search Marxist websites, son, sure you can find lots of “proofs” over there.
